She finishes her mid-education in art class in her native town. Later she studies in Teachers Institute "Hristo Botev" again in Burgas.The beginning of her creative work is at the early age of 9 when she starts writing poems. She is keen on arts and that makes her different from her coevals. She wins competitions for young poets and performers popular music.In 1995 she goes to Greece and settles down in Hanya on Creta Island. After a successful casting in October 1996 her career of a professional singer begins. Mariyana is amongst the discoveries of Kostas Kopanelis who is music maestros of some of the most famous singers in Greece (STAMATIS GONIDIS, PANOS KIAMOS and others.). Mariyana makes live performances of Greek music that she didn't like before but with extend of her repertoire and the learning of Greek language she understands that for good music borders don't exist. Up to now Mariyana is the only Bulgarian who performs Greek music on Creta Island and this makes her popular in Creta island.Later her love to the rock music that she enjoys since she was a teenager "unlocks" her talent of a composer, lyrics writer and singer. Since 1997 she participates in rock concerts by singing covers. When she starts recording hers live performances she uploads them in Myspace website. Firstly she records 3 club covers- two in English and one in Greek- with Lord of Bass who is one of the most popular DJs from Thessaloniki and uploads them in the Internet. 2007 is the year when the dreams of the talented Bulgarian begin to come true. In the begging of the year her talent is notified by Bob Katsionis - pianist and guitar player of the world wide popular Greek rock group FIREWIND, who offers her to work together. With him Mariyana records 5 own author songs. In the beginning of the summer two of Mariyana's new author songs are on the top of the chart list in Sonic – B.A.N.G. – portal for Bulgarian music (www.bg-sonic.com). Meanwhile she is also on the top of the chart for best performer in the same website. This is her first recognition from Bulgarian public which motivates her to go ahead.But miracles for Mariyana in 2007 do not finish..The first official appearance of the talented singer in front of Bulgarian audience is during the Balkan Youth Festival hold from 12th to 17th of September in Sandanski where she is a special guest and for the first time she performs her own songs! For her this is an amazing experience!In the moment Mariyana is working on her first authors album where most of the songs are in English and Greek, and she is also making a Bulgarian version of the single "Will You Love me Tomorrow". And this is only the beginning!!!
