About Me |

Sean started playing the guitar when he was 9 years old, through the music education program within his primary school. He completed the 3 year course within the first year. His first public performances were at the age of 10, where he accompanied the keyboardist at the weekly Sunday church service. The keyboardist was also Sean's first Guitar/Music teacher. In 1983, on his 13th birthday, Sean received his first electric guitar. He rapidly learned and mastered the instrument. His influences at the time were many, but mostly rock guitar based bands of the 70s. During the late 80s he joined his first band and started playing. He received great reviews for his guitar skills. In the 90s Sean stopped performing in bands, although he did not perform live much during this time, he continued to develop his guitar skills and also returned to classical training. In 2001 Sean decided to return to performing live. He initially spent some time using home recording to establish his style. He then continued to play in various bands throughout Brisbane, Australia. In 2005 he decided, due to popular demand, to professionally record his debut Guitar album titled 'Restless Dream'. This 5 track album starts with his version of a classical Beethoven piece - "Theme from the 9th Symphony". The remaining 4 tracks beautifully display Sean's guitar skills. The album was written to appeal to guitarists and to the lovers of guitar music. |
