Salem Underground's official release date is June 6th, 2008. We will be playing a live show that night in Tel Aviv with Florida's finest, Obituary. The new DVD will be avaiable for the first time at the concert. Worldwide distribution will happen a couple of weeks later, more details about that later. The new package includes a live DVD (Region free PAL, Stereo) with the following track list: Foreplay (drums solo) ,Strife, The Fading, Blood, Old Wounds, The Edge of the Void, Resentment (rehearsal), Slave, Eyes to Match a Soul, Freezing Moon (with Atilla Scihar), Deathcrush (with Atilla Scihar), Amona, Flames, Blood (rehearsal).
Bonus material: Black and Blue and White. The history of Salem 1985-2003 (32 min. documentary) Subtitles: English. Come enjoy the madness. 16/04/2008 - Salem will be playing "Ha'ayara Bo'eret" on a Holocaust remembrance ceramony in Theater Tmona 8 Shonsino, Tel Aviv. The event will take place on April 30th, 2008 and is covered by mainstream media. 04/04/2008 - Here we go again; Salem is proud to announce that on June 6th 2008 they will share the stage with Florida's finest, Obituary, The show will take place on at the Theater club in Jaffa. Doors open at 20:30, be sure to reserve your tickets in advance. 07/03/2008 - Salem's new DVD release is just around the corner; We are happy to announce that the final touches are being applied to our forthcoming DVD, "Salem Underground". This release is a collection of performances from 4 different shows. The concept for this DVD was to mix the recorded audio (in Stereo) but to leave it un-edited to maintain the rawest live experience possible. The release date will be announced next week along with some show dates, new merch items and more. Stick around. All The News Bio Formed in 1985, Salem is the only rock/metal band in Israel that has been active for nineteen years straight. During which time the band has released three demos, five albums: Creating Our Sins(Morbid rec), Kaddish(Morbid Records), A Moment Of Silence(BNE), Collective Demise(KMG/System Shock) and Strings Attached(Master Disk), two singles: Dying Embers and Al taster, a live DVD: Live Demise, their controversial music has found its way to discussion in the Israeli parliament, band members received bombs in the mail due to their uncompromising ideology to count just a few events in the time line of Salem's existence. In 2004 Salem was the first death metal band in history to play a 150 minute long show. Salem signed a record contract with French monster label Season of Mist.
