| LISTEN TO FRANK This page will assist you in figuring out who to vote for, if you live in Miami, in the November 2008 elections. In south-South Florida there is one race for U.S. Senator and three possible candidates for U.S Representative. So you'll be voting for one senator and one representative. The Representative you vote for will depend on where you live in Miami. In total you will be voting for two persons who will go to Congress. This years election is more important than past elections because currently Republicans are the majority in congress. Because of this they "rubber stamp" or approve everything and anything George Bush wants, including an unneccesary and costly war and a religously based right-wing agenda. If we can elect different, free thinking, open-minded, and intelligent candidates, from different parties we can begin to restore the U.S. government to the free and open society it was meant to be. To find what congressional district you are in look on your Voter Information Card or click on the District links below and check the maps. You'll be in either 18, 21, or 25. Once you know what district you're in you can find out who your current U.S. Representative is and who is running against them. As for the U.S. Senate race, regardless of where you live, we will all vote in the same race. So here are the candidates I hope you'll vote for. | |
