Composer, DJ & MC Erick Santero ignites the stage with his passionate delivery of Reggae, Hip Hop and Latin rhymes. Omega is a Bay Area legend, known for her ability to rock R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae & Latin flavors effortlessly. Liliana Herrera's blending of traditional Latin American vocal traditions and Soul music is unequaled. Multi-instrumental guru Camilo Landau holds down the guitar, percussion, keys and horn sections. Miguel "DJ Mr E" Escobedo, with his masterful turntable stylings, and Javier Navarette, with his mastery of so many percussion instruments, round out the six piece. SANTERO incorporates classic African & Latin styles with modern technology and programming. SANTERO is known for its thick dubby bass assault and clean memorable melodies, the fusion of which creates an innovative blend of unconventional & contemporary musical sensibilities proven to get any crowd dancing. SANTERO recorded his debut CD "Arawaks & Maroons" with multi-Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated Producer Greg Landau in 2005 and is working on a follow up release for 2007. Erick Santero is also a world class DJ known for his international mixes and dance parties. His weekly Noches de Vudu sessions have attracted the best Latin DJs from the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico & Brazil. DJ Erick Santero has been repeatedly recognized as one of the best Salsa, Samba & Reggaeton DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area by local and national press. Erick Santero also hosts a global monthly DJ session that highlights the latest Latin, Caribbean, African & Asian music hitting the charts. He has hosted DJs from Senegal, India, Jamaica & Europe for some of the best international parties on the West Coast. His remixes of Hip Hop, R&B and Reggae/Dancehall hits have made DJ Erick Santero a household name worldwide. In addition to his work as a DJ and remixer, DJ Erick Santero has also garnered major recognition for his work as a Producer and recording Artist.
