Weight, rhythm, groove, pulse. These are just a few of the many words that can be used to describe Sayowa and what these six guys from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, can do best.

The new album is the fruition of a few years of hard working, building a curriculum that many brazillian bands aspire as an international career: the guys have made three European tours, playing in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Belgium, Spain and Holland.

In European territory Sayowa shared the stage with Megadeth, Sepultura, Fear Factory and Pro-Pain. Besides that, the band’s first album, “Treme Terra” (the same name given to the big percussion drums) has made some of the guy’s dreams come true at the time. The album features three tracks with Andreas Kisser on guitar and one track mixed by Billy Graziadei, former Biohazard singer and guitar player, nowadays with his band Suicide City.

Our second album, "Sayowa", is out in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. We..re now negotiating it..s release in Europe, USA and Brazil. Negotiations are going well and we have lots of great plans for 2008, which started off really great for SAYOWA. Part of our plans, including the release of our new album in the territories mentioned above, is a Latin-American tour with some friends from Argentina. No informations about when it..s gonna happen yet, it has just started to be thought, but it..ll be as soon as possible. We..re very excited to see the reaction of the people at the shows now, with the album in stores.

Another part of our plans (and one of the most important) is building up our own studio!!!! At first just for rehearsing and recording some pre-production stuff, some jams, some writting..... our own place. No sharing with other bands. We..ll have all the time we need to make our music and will no longer depend on studio time....... and we..ll save a lot of money too!! That..s VERY imporant.

Part three of SAYOWA..s plans for 2008 is an European tour with some headliner we didn..t choose yet. Sounds strange? But that..s exactly like that, we..ll kind of choose who we..re gonna play with. But that..s part of a long story, we..ll tell you later....... If everything goes as planned (and we..re shure it will), we..ll soon announce something great here and you..ll all see our "ugly" faces everywhere in Europe and worldwide on the internet.

Back to what..s going on this exact moment, we..re testing some percussion guys. Roberto, one of our percussionists, has left the band for personal reasons. We wish him the best. But life goes on and need a new brother to fill in and give us a little help making everything that was said right above happen. We..re waiting for the best to come.
