IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOHN LOPEZ JR. JUNE 6, 1989 - FEBRUARY 2, 2007 We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name; In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone; For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide; And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. John, losing your father was devastating, losing you too is a tragedy. You had some much living left to do - I cannot believe that your life was cut so short. My only consolation is that you are together - that you will not be alone on your journey. I know that we will be together again someday. I look forward to you and your father greeting me when my time comes. Until that time, you will be here, with me, in my heart and mind.
