| Os Yéti Project surgem em 2006 rejuvenescidos de músicos de nacionalidade portuguesa provenientes da Berklee College of music e dos conservatórios de musica de Amesterdão e Roterdão; após um concerto no Festival de Jazz do Sudoeste em Agosto de 2006 que trouxe uma frescura de boa musica tendo marcado uma presença muito viva no panorama do jazz português. A partir deste momento assumiram-se como projecto. Procuram uma sonoridade que vem do jazz actual explorando os ritmos e ambientes do pop rock, misturando por vezes as raízes de musica popular portuguesa. The first concert took place at the Out Jazz Festival in Sudoeste. We started to work as a band right after this. Everyday we work on new songs and we try to play as much as we can together, always looking for new places where we can show our music. Our influences come directly from the new jazz scene as well as from the mix with pop, rock and traditional Portuguese music.
