Créé en juillet 2006 par Camille et Charly, The Red Lips est un jeune groupe indie toulousain qui essai de mêler des riffs rock à des mélodies pop et des rythmes électro. Le groupe a connu de nombreuses formations différentes à ses débuts avant de se stabiliser avec Samuel à la basse puis Guillaume (dit GG) à la batterie. C'est sous cette formation qu'est enregistrée la première démo 4 titres en juillet 2007. En octobre 2007, Samuel quitte le groupe pour manque de disponibilité et sera remplacé rapidemment par Nathan. 3 nouveaux titres vont alors être ajoutés aux précedents. Le 9 mai 2008, The Red Lips sort Mechanical World, son premier EP 7 titres... En attendant de nouveaux enregistrements, les dates se multiplient à Toulouse et ailleurs avec pour seul objectif de progresser constamment...
