| Groundmower started off summer 2004 When drummer Richard Bang heard singer Magnus Arnar preform in Gävle with his band Soul 78. At the same time Richard were invited as guest musican when his old band FACE DOWN were recording their new album. The oldtime friends and bandmates Jonas Wigstad (guitar) and Thomas Marklund (bass,vocals) in the hard rocking band Mozes, were looking for a drummer and a singer at the same time when they hooked up and start to play again. So the timing was perfect! 3 years later and this is the result! Debut album is just finished! Recorded at Grand studio by Petter Diamant and mixed by Jocke Skog at fear and loathing studio. GM are more than Happy over the result that they think really shows a plug in and fuckn ROCK!! sound.. and after all thats just what it is!ANOTHER VERSIONIn the filthy dark streets of Stockholm in the year of our lord 2004, two noble men of the royal court accidentally bumped into each other. One of them Tomas, also known as the non believer, meets the mighty Jonas Wigstad. They begun to explore the lustful joy of Rock ´n Roll once again.Later the furious drummer Richard Bang joined the evil duet and together they formed the abnormal foetus of Ground Mower, while God was having his lunch break.The three voiceless instruments where desperately looking for a voice that could put all the pieces together. The answere to their call happened to be the best fucking potent singer north of the Arctic Circle; Magnus Arnar.After a few spectacular gigs, and a demo recorded over a weekend in late 2005 the band has attracted a huge verity of music lovers and is now aiming for the nobel prize in music.Thats why their first long-awaited album has been mixed in fear and loathing studios by demon mixer jocke skoog. you can listen too the Deadly result here right now njoy!!
