| SIGNE is a fresh face to Denmark's music industry, but certainly not a novice. The former front-woman of MINERVAH, a Canadian band that released Everybody's Naked in 2001 under Montreal label TGO Records, is back for more. SIGNE possesses a soulful, sensitive voice and she teases us with her mix of power and inherent vulnerability during every vocal performance. She successfully couples excellent vocals with catchy songs that are written candidly, sincerely – and with purpose: “Never Far”, a fairytale-esque song included on her recent EP, was written in dedication to Jonny Kennedy (Visit www.debra.org.uk), and will be used in upcoming fund-raising initiatives. “Last Standing” is dedicated to family and close friends that have been afflicted by cancer, and she is planning to use this song to raise funds for cancer research internationally.
