| Maschinen Musik - music
done with machines and that sounds like machines ! In our case that means electronic music centred around breakbeat, electro and techno, with industrial charm and cool sound aesthetics, from deep mercury lakes to rude pile drivers. Music that not necessarily can be attributed to one genre and that might come around quite queer and crude from time to time. What counts are soul, atmosphere and the idea . Founded in 2003 by Dr. Schmidt , Maschinen Musik will be a hobby label, not started to bring its owners fame and wealth but just the fun of producing and releasing records and getting in contact with people. A simple idea demands a simple realization. What finally counts is the quality of the records, that will be released in limited numbers, professionally mastered, cut and pressed. With the professional distribution through Z-Audio in London the records should be available worldwide in good record shops that have an electro/breakbeat crate. The first release showed that the project Maschinen Musik can be translated into reality and encouraged us to continue on our mission. Further releases will follow according to motivation, desire and budget without any strict timetables. Because as we said, this is all mainly about the fun of doing it . |
