We are a recording studio and production team based in the North West of England. Over the last 10 years we've been working hard in the music industry, clocking up numerous top 40 hits in the UK & Europe and many Club Chart number 1's, including a US Billboard Dance chart no 1. This has enabled us to build a proffessional studio environment. We work with Bands, Record companies, Publishing companies, Solo artists and DJ's. We can offer basic recording facilities if you're just starting out, or we can provide full production for your Single/EP/Album projects.

The Playground production team posess an enviable track record. Hailing from South Wales and Cheshire, UK, between them they have shifted tonnes of records around the World and a number of major recording artists have passed through the doors.

From masterminding a multi million selling dance act during the late 90's, to producing one of the hottest teenage punk rock bands currently on the scene in the UK, the production credits are as diverse as they are eclectic. With a group of musicians proficient in styles ranging from Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul and Dance, a wide variety of musical ability is on hand at all times.

The team also have a wealth of experience on the live music circuit - having toured UK & Europe extensively with various bands, playing at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Koko in Camden and the Brixton Academy.

As well as production projects, we can offer our recording facilities to Bands/Vocalists/DJ's who require professional recordings or demos putting together. We have 2 control rooms, a live room and a chill out area at our studio complex (see pics). We can provide Mastering and digital editing facilities for your mixes and take care of all your copying requirements. Room 1

This is our main control room where most tracks are recorded, mixed and mastered. We use arguably THE best recording system out there - Pro Tools HD2 along with Apple's Logic Pro sequencing package. A great writing suite with a warm analogue sound, room 2 is the perfect solution for solo artists or songwriters who don't have the benefit of a band to record with. We can provide backing tracks and give advice that will compliment your songs in a style that's right for you. Create demos that will showcase your songwriting, vocal or instrumentation talents appropriately.
