| lon had been in bands with both jesse and brian at different points in time, and yvonne had been sitting at home playing bass along to pastels records. we came together out of a love for jangle pop and bicycles. we have singles available on yay! records and cloudberry records . a babelfish translation from a german rolling stone review of "cats of camerford" goes something like this: "the indie police should no incriminating material in the indie-half-hipsters from los angeles, whose new single "cats of camerford" again one of these songs in accessing radiant spirit of orange juice. tube monkey mouths, singing behind the frosted glass pane, halbfroher jangle-pop, not haircuts. so very charmingly." here we are performing the go-betweens classic "lee remick" with phil and frank of the june brides: |
