Hello, my name is Blackseapearl and I’m a studied fashion-designer from Berlin, with roots in Bulgaria. And that’s why I came up with this name. It’s a wordplay and means pearl from the Black-Sea as well as black seapearl, which to me stands for tiki, playfulness and retro - so both meanings are representing parts of my personality. From a very young age, I have always been excited about the 50s and 60s. Especially the various looks of the women …from girl to vamp. I started collecting interesting clothing and funny accessories. …searching for a dream handbag I had a concrete vision… but one like that did not exist and I remembered friends, who liked playful and vintage things and spent lots of time on fleamarkets, looking for the object of desire. So why not design by myself for all of us?Thus many ideas with R�schen, embroidery, borders, bamboo-handles and new-old-stock fabrics evolved. Each handbag is an absolutely unique piece – so there won’t be any doppelg�nger – isn’t that wonderful? I designed the great, shiny embroideries and I am putting much attention on precise and quality workmanship. It’s a handbag-collection for all women who love fashion, keep searching for something new und like to present their feminine side! The designs actually complete the current fashion styles well. They match sveral styles. …and you can really put quite a lot into them - from mobile-phone to sketching-block, a small cardigan, baby diapers for mobile mothers, make-up of course… you know, how much stuff we "carry around" ;-))) only available online!!!!
