Stefano Spataro (Ada-Nuki, HysM?)

ITA-Solquest è lo pseudonimo di Stefano Spataro, bassista e non solo in diversi progetti quali Ritratto di un mattino, Anonima Folk, ma anche attualmente Ada-nuki (Whosbrain rec.) e cofondatore del progetto HysM?.

Solquest nasce con l'album Sphera che cerca di riprendere delle sonorità appartenenti agli anni '70.
Nel 2006 e nel 2007 vengono creati rispettivamente Atomic Age e Green Dust, album che cercavano di mischiare elettronica vecchia e nuova.

Nel Settembre 2007 è la volta di Private, ep in minicdr, disponibile in free-download anche sulla netlabel "lepers produtcions" (etichetta con cui collabora attivamente) che apre a Solquest anche a delle esibizioni live.
Il disco prevede sonorità frastagliate, molto intimiste, e crea atmosfere elettroniche non del tutto ortodosse, ciò dovuto al particolare utilizzo del basso elettrico filtrato con diversi effetti.

Da questa piccola stagione live alla fine del 2007, viene salvato e messo a disposizione di tutti gratuitamente un Live di circa 18 minuti dal nome Live at hotel de Ville.

Dal primo Luglio 2008 è disponibile il suo nuovo lavoro, un'osservazione audio/video divisa in 5 momenti (5 clips) dal nome Fiare Vechi, coprodotto dal neo-nato collettivo Hysm? e da recycled music.
Viene coadiuvato in questo progetto da Florentina Decianu che lo aiuta attivamente sia nelle riprese sia nel creare le ambientazioni audio necessarie.

I suoi prossimi lavori sono: "4 sonatas for electroacoustic toughts", realizzato in collaborazione con Francesco Giannico e in uscita a Novembre per HysM?; "Harassment", 15 minuti di devastante impro psycho/industrial; "the blind town", Lp la cui uscita è prevista per la fine della prossima estate.

ENG-Solquest is the pseudonym of Stefano Spataro, bass-guitar player (and not only) in different projects such as Ritratto di un mattino, Anonima Folk, currently one of the two Ada-Nuki (Whosbrain rec.) and co-founder of the Hysm? concept.

Solquest borns with the Sphera album, which tries to regain the sounds of the '70s.
In 2006 and respectively 2007, Atomic Age and Green Dust are created, two items of a crossing through old and new electronic music.

In september 2007 comes the time of Private, a minicdr EP, also available in free-download with the "lepers produtcions" label (with whom Solquest actively collaborates). It opened the way to live performances by Solquest.
Its music has jagged sounds, full of introspection, and creates an un-orthodox electronic atmosphere, particularly because of the electric bass guitar, which is filtered with different effects.

The fruit of this short season of performances at the end of 2007 is a free record of 18 minutes called "Live at hotel de ville".

His latest work had its release on the first of July 2008.
Fiare Vechi, co-produced by the newborn Hysm? collective and the Recycled music label, is an audio/video observation divided in 5 moments (5 clips).
Solquest is helped by Florentina Decianu in this project, both in shooting the video parts and in creating the audio ambient.

The upcoming albums are: "4 sonatas for electroacoustic toughts", made in collaboration with Francesco Giannico and to be released in November with Hysm?; "Harassment", 15 minutes of devastating psycho/industrial impros; "the blind town", an LP predicted for the end of summer 2009.
