******BACKDRAFT - SOUTHERN ROCK WITH A GEOGRAPHY PROBLEM****** The statement above came from Kerrang magazine, upon hearing the band's debut album "Here To Save You All" (Lunasound Recording/Plastichead), back in the fall of 2001. The album was universally praised for bringing together classic southern rock, metal, blues and country influences into a fresh, unique sound. After a few years break, the band reformed to set up their own studio and record the follow-up album, "The Second Coming" (GMR Music), which was released in August 2007. Check the official home page for pics, links to the band's official merchandise store and links to online stores selling the new record. Backdraft will pick up the pace of more frequent gigs and looking at tour opportunities for the second half of 2008, while continuing to work on new material. |
