| ^^^^TEMPLE OF MIR myspace page^^^^............JULY 15, 2007------------- My new dvd "mastering the rubber guard", is almost done. It should be in stores by November, check out the 5 minute sneak peak video located just above the giant picture of miranda and me. It's gonna be a jiu jitsu/music/comedy dvd with tons of extras......... Also check out the new "compella and the twister" music video for "put ur weed up" located on the top left side of this page. A full length "compella and the twister" CD, a full length "Temple of Mir" CD, and full length "Arc Ascending" CD will be out by the end of the year all available on my new label "thetwister Records"......... "Arc Ascending" is the third musical project I'm putting together for my new label. It's an incredibly unique blend of rock, alternative and r&b. Check it Arc Ascending myspace page.................NOV 1, 2006----------------------- Compella and I have been working very hard over the last few months on our full length cd, which will have 14 songs, which will also be the soundtrack for my new dvd "Mastering The Rubber Guard". We have 10 completed tracks so far and if you're feeling "dropped" and "put ur weed up" you're really gonna flip over our new stuff, I can't wait for you all to hear it!!!! "Mastering The Rubber Guard" will be WAY more than just a jiu jitsu instructional dvd. Also, I'm gonna add 4 'punkd/jamie kennedy type sketches from my academy where my new students are the victims, the premiere of the music video for "dropped" and "on the run", plus 2 music videos from my alternative rock project, "temple of mir", and lots more. I'm gonna do everything in my power to make this as epic as possible. In more news, Face Down is officially dead. Gina has decided to go the full-on baby-jesus/family-raising route. Even though I had a full plate in front of me with the "compella and the twister" project, I really wanted to finish what I started with Face Down as a side project and was looking forward to making some time and finally completing our album. Chris Khols from Adema was even gonna play drums on the record. But just when I thought my female alternative rock project was forever submerged in darkness, a glorious ray of blinding light pierced through the pitch black suffocating smoke. After audtioning countless singers trying to replace Gina, I thought that I could never find someone to fill her shoes. Sure, there were plenty of girls that could out sing Gina technically, but no one had her beautifully fractured soul and her deep as the ocean floor emotion. Gina never thought about hitting certain notes, or pitch, or complex harmonies, Gina just told a story with an incredible and very unique tone. I came to the conclusion that Gina was the only one put here on this earth that could swim through my melodies. Boy was I wrong. I have not only found someone to replace Gina, but Miranda Frigon goes far beyond what Gina was able to do. Miranda not only has the power to dig deep into her soul to pull out cosmic emotion, but she also has unbelievable technique that's up there with the goddess Sarah M. herself. So far we have only 4 songs, but they are turning out VERY scary. If you were on the Face Down frequency, I promise you that you will have a new favorite cd soon. The project is called "Temple of Mir" and we will have a demo cd within a few of months, meanwhile jump on the TEMPLE OF MIR myspace page to hear our first single, "falling under". I'm so fucking stoked! I'll keep you posted. DAMN! I have alot of shit to do! | |
