| Thank you for stopping by. I am a lifer and lover of the guitar. I have played them, fixed them and made them and the more I learn about them, the more I realize I don't know and that's the adventure and beauty of this art and the same for life. My statement: When it comes to playing I think people talk too much about tone & equipment these days and focus less on the player. It certainly is true that your equipment is a big part in developing the nuances of your sound & who you are as a player, but by far the biggest slice is the hands and the heart. We have Don Miles on drums & vocals, Dale Pequignot on vocals, drums & harp, Rick Brown on sax, keys, guitar & vocals, Mike Hockaday on bass, guitar, sax & vocals and myself on guitar, bass & vocals. Influences: There is so much that influences an artist since art is a reflection of one's life and experiences. Musically I like: Michael Schenker David Gilmour Kansas early Rush early VH early Iron Maiden (I'm early,,,I'm old!) Tommy Bolin Camel Bryan Adams (especially Keith Scott) Eric Johnson and many others but this is off the top. Sounds Like: When I listen to myself I remind me a lot of me; Among my favorites are Schenker, Gilmour and Beck so I may be a faint cross of these greats. Record Label: Unsigned |
