| I think i can call myself a seasoned 10-year veteran of South Florida law enforcement. My record speaks for it self. For the past six years I've worked undercover on the Metro Dade County Vice squad, infiltrating the drugs, gambling and prostitution networks in the Miami vicinity.The Organized Crime Bureau (OCB), set me up with: a sailboat as my undercover home, a rare Ferrari as my transportation and a Chris-Craft cigarette boat as my drug running credentials. I grew up in south Florida as an all-American boy. I spent summers at weenie roasts with my older brother Jake and cousins. Dad died in 1968 so I like to reminisce about playing snooker with him while I was growing up. I was a wide receiver for the University of Flordia with good pro-ball possibilities. My 15 minute claim to fame was a screen pass I caught in the Gator Bowl and took it 95 yards for the game winning touchdown. I was awarded the game ball which remained one of my prized possessions until I gave it away.However, My career as ..88's was cut short by a knee injury. It acts up every now and then. My pet alligator, Elvis, was originally the Florida team mascot and when threatened with destruction for biting a player, I adopted him and keep him on my houseboat. In conflict with my knee injury, I was on my way to being drafted by the pro leagues. Instead, I was drafted by the "Southeast Asia" league for a two-year stint in Vietnam. I served in the Army and spent several tours "in country." Upon the completion of My tours, I returned to the States in 1974. I returned to Miami and entered the police academy. I taught rookie cops after graduation, and was eventually assigned to Robbery downtown. After four years in Robbery, I transferred to County Vice in 1978. As part of my cover I was given a wardrobe, a 42-foot Endeavor yacht, christened the "St. Vitus' Dance" in the marina and a black Ferrari Daytona. Once i returned from vietnam I married my high school sweetheart, Caroline in 1975.Together we had our son Billy who was born in 1978.A few years later, the hard lifestyle and demands of undercover police work forced Caroline to request a separation. Caroline was eventually remarried in 1987. Billy went through alot in those times it took alot of mother father support for him to get through those rough times. Since 1983 I've been with all different types of women, from pop stars to co-workers to my targeted drug dealers. Nothing seems to go as i plan when it comes to girls (long term haha!). In 1982 I hooked up with my partner nad friend Rico Tubbs. We worked togther to bring down one of the most powerful drug lords in the world, Sr. Caldorone. At the experianced age of 40 i got burntout on police investigative work. Now i am housed in a classified area (paradise). Further south, where the water's warm and the drinks are cold. | |
