STEAL NOW THIS ALBUM!!!! Hi! My name is Filippo Cavallini (you can call me Pip, Pippo, Pippi, Pipino and in many other ways..), I m a studend, I study Classics at the University, and a musician. I play in a band called Black Wings (such an original name!), we play a sort of power/prog/hard rock..can t really explain.. we have just recorded our first full lenght called "SACRED SHIVER" that will be out worldwide next autumn. A part from playin' with this band, which takes me a lot of time with the various gigs we play around, rehearsals etc etc.. my first occupation is listening to Music. I absolutely love Music over all!! I wake up and I listen to music, I eat listening to music, I do everything listening to music..now, I m listening to Music!! I love various kind of it..from Blues to Power Metal; my favourite band ever are Led Zeppelin even if I started back when I was 4 yo with Guns n' Roses and Rod Steward. I love rock/blues things such as Elf and old hard rock like Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath and Rainbow...I ve got a big passion for Acid Rock too which represents somehow some "particular" moments of my life ;-P Anyway, any kind of music is an easy target to me... I hate Disco, Techno and all that shit that is not real Music..and I hate the people who listen to it too...well..I don t really hate anyone..but I usually prefer talking with rocking people and not with people who think that a "tunz tunz" is Music... I also love reading..I usually pass the time of my days reading (while I m listening to music too ;-P)..I absolutely hate television a part for some particular shows..but 'till I ll buy a new TV, because the old is broken, it could be a little difficult to me to watch it.. Talking again a little about music..well.. BLACK WINGS is my most important experience but I played with some other cool bands here in Ferrara...The most important to me is a rock and blues band called A1 who was composed a part from myself by Ennio Zappareddu, a great blues guitarist here in Ferrara and Stefano Raimondi, a wonderful and full of inspiration and knowledge piano player; then I enjoyed another band called ROVERFISH composed by myself, the amazing Gianluca Ferioli and Lorenzo Fabbri on the Guitars, Giacomo Bazzani (actually by my side in Black Wings after almost three years of playin' together!) on the Drums and, at the beginning, Federico Mazza on the vocals, who was replaced later by my dear friend Diego Albini (two years with this man by my side have changed my life!!). After few months I met the amazing Rubin Brothers, ROVERFISH splitted, and then BLACK WINGS were born...In the last months I played again with Ennio Zappareddu and Stefano Raimondi in a Raimondi's Jazz project called LIME PROJECT with, a part of the A1 trio, Claudio Gardenghi on the Drums and Marcello Malag� on Sax and Clarinet...it has been a great experience! Now I'm also playin' in a new great power/epic/thrash band, Daimones, with my friend Nicola Rossi on the vocals! I really love this band since I've heard their first song! In the last times I also joined a prog instrumental band with the amazing guitar virtuoso Luca Fortini who is Black Wings' new guitar player too after that Federico and Francesco Rubin were sent away from the band for musical and personal divergences. To replace our old keyboard player Federico there is now a real funny and great person and musician: Alessandro Du�..it s such a pleasure to work and play with these two new members! ROCK ON!
