About Me |

| My name is Mandrake. I have been playing music since I was 8 years old. I was considered a child saxophone prodigy by the age of 10. When I was 12 I was incredibly bored with the saxophone so I picked up the French horn. At 13, I received a music scholarship to a local Catholic High School. Because of my spiritual beliefs, my tenure at this High School was cut very short. My family was very VERY angry because this did not fit into their plans for me. I started to attend a public high school and picked up the Mellowphone. Again, bored with their musical agenda, I was asked to leave their school. As a teen I picked up many more instruments including but not limited to the bass guitar and the piano. In my early 20’s, I was in a “grunge band” but I gave it up for “love” I have no doubt, that if our band stuck together, we would have started a Cleveland music scene that would have rivaled that of Seattle's.
All during the coarse of my life I have written music. It wasn’t until I discovered music could be played through a computer did I start writing again. The music you hear on MySpace is from 2000. I have written quite a bit more since then, but, have not copy writed any of it. I hope you enjoy! R.I.P. LOVE! |
