| I'm many things: wife, mother, grandmother (Dabba, actually)and friend, but I always think of myself as a writer. Writing is the constant that defines me--it takes me out of the "here and now" and allows me to drift freely in worlds of fantasy where I am in complete control of my characters and their destinies...at least, that is, until they take over the stories. My current series from Kensington Publishing, Wolf Tales, is taking me in directions I never imagined and has opened up my own rather mundane world to that of the Chanku. These amazingly sensual shapeshifters started out as mythical creatures of my own creation, but have long since moved out of the realm of fantasy and into a reality I never imagined.
