| Made a mad last minute decision to go to Uni and guess what it was the best decision I have EVER made! Currently studying a Joint Honours in American Studies and English Literature at the University Of Derby, and I love it! I'm living in Halls with five mad but very loveable girls, who I now wouldn't be without! I have to say I am having the time of my life! I was born in Kent but have spent most of my life in Norwich. It's nice to have a change from country life! My main obsessions are Incubus, Gwen Stefani (No Doubt), Garbage and oh my god im so obsessed with Lily Allen!I also have two gorgeous cats, who I miss since starting uni! In support of my degree, I am interested in most things american! My real love is Literature, the majority of my real influences lying in American Authors. My real influence (despite the intense feminism) has to be Sylvia Plath. I think she is a very powerful writer and poet, I have not been disappointed in any of works so far!I'm also very passionate about Ethics and Environment, I unfortunately possess very high morals and can get a bit too passionate about them lol. | |

Movies:All time favourite film has got to be True Romance. Although I also love The Shining and Fifth Element. I have a very diverse taste in films, I love all films made by Pixar too! The list is never ending! |

Television:I love LOST and really loved INVASION too. Max and Paddy are fantastic, no arguing with me on that!!! I always have time for Little Britain, doesn't matter how many times I've seen each episode its just always funny! But I try not to watch too much TV as its mind numbing. But i can make time for watching any episode of Friends! Also, Coupling, Hustle, Red Dwarf, Family Guy and American Dad. |

Books:Seriously can't list everything. To give an idea I loved, "The Color Purple" and "White Teeth", both fantastic reads and highly recommended.As previously mentioned, I adore anything by Sylvia Plath. I also have been known to like the more gothic american writer, like Henry James.Oh I like my classics too, I mean Emily Bronte and Charlotte Bronte, fantastic writers. But my taste really does vary.Recently I have been reading a lot by Sarah Orne Jewett, can be heavy going but always a good read!Next book that I must read is Zadie Smith, On Beauty. The extremely childish side of me is saying I have to say -Also Harry Potter is a must!Anyone wants to recommend books to me, go for it! I really will read them though and Im very critical!! |
