| For those that know me, know that I'm a survivor of domestic violence/abuse. I was born into it as a child, raised in a world of abuse as a teen and married into it at an adult woman. At 37 years old, I finally said "enough is enough." I subsequently got rid of all the abusive people in my life including my soon-to-be-ex-husband.My mission here on MySpace is to make people aware of the growing trend with domestic violence/abuse. As of December, 2007 there are over 54 million men, women & children being abused by the hand of others. It could be their mother,father,husband,wife or another other relative or friend. It would also be a boyfriend and or girlfriend. Abuse comes in all shapes and forms; whether it be physical or mental. Doesn't matter abuse is abuse no matter how you look at it. I am no counselor but I am here to try to break the cycle of abuse.I firmly believe that everyone is to be given a second chance at life again. I for one was given that second chance and now I'm doing things right. So, please join me in breaking the cycle of abuse.
