Eyes looked towards heaven. The sprit of mourning, sorrow, comfort, and remembrance had been set. The pallbearers began to go down the stairs. People began to fall to their knees in grief, sob uncomfortably, or ask why as the casket began to pass through the crowd. It was amazing. Without question, anyone in the midst of the crowd could feel the love and emotion pouring out for the deceased. This outpouring was not unexpected. This was a loved person. Everyone knew this deceased. Everyone loved this person. Everyone had been touched by this person. Some had seen this person in passing, and the person’s smile or hello made their day worth living. Some had been close friends and family. But everyone did know the honored body within the beautiful casket. While some people could not feel as strongly as others, everyone felt like a piece of them was missing and that it was being carried away forever within the casket before them. type your comment on the comment below! |
