Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor LeGrand Andre Whitt (“LeGrand”) enchants all audiences with his melodic tones and hypnotic vocals. A singer/songwriter from Baltimore, LeGrand is a veteran of live performances from evenings at the Apollo Theatre and Nells to the best nightspots all across the country. LeGrand recently completed a highly successful music tour in the Philippines. LeGrand’s self-entitled solo EP has become a must have for his fans worldwide. Every song on the EP is a hit. Indeed, several of his songs have gained critical acclaim. “In Deep For You” have been compared to the great old-school ballads of the Motown era and LeGrand’s upbeat song “Anything You Want” is featured in the feature full-length film “Nikita Blues” starring Essence Atkins (“Half & Half” and “Moesha”). LeGrand wowed audiences with his performances in charity benefits, talent showcases and contests throughout the country. In addition, LeGrand served as lead singer for some of the east coast’s most popular R&B bands. But all that heard his velvet voice knew that it was only a matter of time before the west coast would come calling -- and it did. LeGrand relocated to Los Angeles to join two of his family members. Upon arrival he was fortunate to work with and learn from some of the most gifted producers in music, including the late Skip Scarborough (Earth, Wind & Fire), Kurt Farquhar (Everybody Hates Chris, Love’s Inc., All Of Us, Moesha, The Parkers, The Proud Family), David Cochrane (Lionel Richie/Commodores), Doug Rasheed (Coolio), David Ellias (John B. La Face Records), Jeff McDowell and Char J. Productions (Gridlock Soundtrack), Automatic (Brownstone, Prince, Kurupt/Dog Pound), Billy Moss (Iysis, Dime, Jamie Foxx, The Neptunes) and as music supervisor for the upcoming film “Snapshot Murder” starring Glenn Plummer.
