Blonk is a four-piece hardcore/metal band from Dessau, Germany. The guys formed together as a little garage band in early 2004. Musically the four guys cross the border of genre stereotypes time and again. Craving for playing in every possible location and city to show the people what they love, the guys already played over 50 shows and 2 Germany-tours. They also shared the stage with such great bands like Across Five Aprils, Intohimo or The Parachutes.
Blonk got the most of their status through the internet and of course promoting themselves hard out on the streets. Over the years these dudes have already seen a lot. They performed shows in front of 5 to 500 people or slept in their car or on the basement floor after a show. After months writing new songs, Blonk has all what it needs to wreck the clubs into ashes. Their new EP “Harm Set, Harm Get!” is coming up with the most brutal and energetic songs the band has ever written. Recorded by the producer Florian Nowak (War From a Harlots Mouth, 5 Bugs, Final Prayer), "HS, HG!" is becoming a bloodthirsty monster! Each track is full to the bursting point with an intensive sound and honest lyrics about the good and bad sides of love, home and friendships.
After releasing their debut through Whitefox Records this summer the Band is ready to take over the European venues.
