Half Belgian, half French, artist and musician, Ory Chalk composes original and captivating music. She is very much influenced by film soundtracks. "2001, A Space Odyssey" by Stanley Kubrick, was a sparking element. "At 10 years old, it was a shock of images and sounds! Since then I have always looked for strong emotions through art. I love contrasts, such as can be found in some paintings with vivid colours. I love to make music rich in images. When I work, my brushes become notes". Ory Chalk's universe is a fascinating one where sensuality and emotions have an important place. Her compositions, inspired sometimes by classical music, sometimes by modern music, lead you through flights of fancy. The first notes of her music,.. the film rolls!
