| A five piece synth-rock band from Pontypridd, South Wales. SaidMike have been together for a over 4 years constantly working hard playing gigs as much as possible. SaidMike played 2006's taste of chaos in the CIA, Cardiff, along with a tour of Wales and numerous support slots to acts such as Adequate Seven, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, The Blackout, Fony, Brigade, Enter Shikari, Kids In Glass Houses and more.In 2007, an EP 'Stop The Clocks' has been released and is currently available from the E-Store. SaidMike have still been rockin' as often as possible and completed UK tours with Bristol's I|AM|THE|DOOR and fellow Welsh friends Kids In Glass Houses.2008 sees a digital release of 'Stop The clocks' currently available on iTunes and other major download sites. SaidMike plan to tour as much as their busy schedules allow them to in 2008 as well as writing new material for a possible upcoming full-length album. "...while some culprits have spent more time on haircuts than tunes, Pontypridd's Said Mike have diligently set about gathering a devoted following with a spikey sub-genre take that owes more to post-hardcore than bratty Blink-182-isms. Their originality-splashed, synth kissed combination of laser-accurate drums and stop-start guitars, topped with anthemic vocals, explains how they've previously graced the Cardiff International Arena stage and supported the likes of Hyped metal-ravers Enter Shikari.
