It started in 2007 in New Jersey where a close knit group of authors got together in the spirit to sell books and have a good time. Since then, a second WagFest in March 2008 - this time in Seattle - proved to be a huge success with standing room only and a larger group of artists that traveled cross country to participate in this event. The saying at WagFest is "come as strangers but leave as family" and that has proven true time and time again. Most artists know that building a successful career out of their art takes time, dedication, and support. Support is something that our familes are sometimes not willing to give readily.
