| I am a 42 year old transgendered woman. I am happily married to a wonderful and supportive woman. I am half Hispanic and half Italian. I have always loved animals, especially dogs. I am a typical Scorpio girl. I am very active in my community on gay, lesbian and transgendered issues. The most important things in my life are God, family and friends. I love making new friends and getting e-mails. In January 2006, I was hospitalized with Congestive heart failure and not expected to recover. At that time, the doctors thought I would need a heart valve replacement or total heart transplant by July 2006. July came and I did not need any surgery. The cardiologist stated that my recovery was 'remarkable'. My last visit to the cardiologist was October 23, 2006. He stated that my heart was even stronger than it was when he examined it in July 2006. I do believe in miracles and owe my recovery to my faith in God. I also believe in living life to the fullest.
