| Dimo P is currently living in Althens doing his military service as a Presidential Guard. Bio:
Dimo P used to live in the North East of England, where he worked as a promoter, producer, and dj. Originaly Greek (born in Athens but grew up in Korinth), he first came to the UK back in '97 for studies. Since then he lived mostly in the North East of England. He also lived for 1 1/2 year in Paris (Montparnasse), and one year in Leeds. He just finished an MBA and now just registered for a Master's in Marketing which he quit (boringgggg), after receiving 3 more degrees in Economics, Finance & E-Commerce (still missing a PhD though...:P). The past six years has been promoting various events with his business partner PK from the percusionauts in the North East of England.Dimo P has been releasing electronic music through various labels the past few years. His first release was on Nascent recordings back in 2002 (NASCENT - THEIR MIND |dimo p deep in their mind mix) and then later on in Planetworks and Ntrop recordings under the name Tuba with friend DJ Kyros, TUBA - FASTRACK (LU 2),TUBA - FIRST CONTACT (ntrop, electronic athens VOL.2) He has written the music for short UK thriller Dusk till Down, and did some field recordings for Newcastle city Council (DVD release). Many of his remixes for pop artists have been welcomed by many DJ's and the artists themselves. Soon a remix for Greek pop band No Name (www.nonameband.gr) will be released by major label. His tracks have been played around the globe from famous and infamous dj/producers.He had residencies in Apartment (UK's best new bar 2004, Europe top 50 bars, www.apartment-luxebar.com), Purple Bar (www.thepointsunderland.co.uk), Savanah, Roker Bar, Bonded Warehouse, Element Club (korinth), Babas Bay, Tease, Grand Dam and many other places in Greece and UK, plus regural and one off appearances around the UK and Greece.The past few months Dimo P decided to move back to his old home somewhere outside Korinthos away from the crowds. His studio is being constructed and situated on a idylic location at the top of a hill facing beautiful sunsets, surrounded by mountains and sea...
