| Kristin’s Music Bio… “Music fuels my soul … all music!” From as early as Kristin could remember, she knew that someday music would have a tremendous impact on her life. As she humbly kept her intense passion for music and singing within, her story truly began at an early age as she admired her Grandmother and Aunt’s natural, raw musical talents. They performed on stages singing, dancing and playing numerous instruments by ear to the crowds during a time when Live music was evolving and appreciated by so many.As tiny as can be, tiptoeing just enough to reach the keys on her Grandmother’s beautiful blonde piano, Kristin would listen carefully as every note rang out. She desired to create the same sounds from each and every key played. Consumed by the sound, she would hum and sing tunes for hours. Listening to vinyls endlessly came next while acquiring strong influences from Motown to Funk, Jazz, Disco and Rock and Roll! At this time she also began singing in church choirs as a child. These great many genres of tunes would inspire her eclectic fusion of soulful gospel-like vocal qualities for the years to come. At a young age, with her continued passion for music, she also began picking up guitar.Growing as a musician, a memory of singing the National Anthem at her senior commencements would surface again in later years. Kristin has been honored by being chosen to sing the National Anthem for numerous pro sports teams to include the Detroit Tigers! From there with the encouragement and support of family, fellow musicians and fans, she went from back-up vocals with a rock/blues band to quickly becoming center stage as a professional singer in a lead jazz and R&B vocalist role. She not only performs with her jazz trio; but also as a sit-in guest vocalist with various groups.With a bright smile and dynamic genuine presence, she has an overall innate ability to bring originality and soulful tones to her music. She also has a great admiration and appreciation for the musicians she works alongside with. Kristin continues to aspire collaborating with a fresh, new melodic fusion of styles to reach out and touch her listeners as she creates original compositions.PRESS - RELEASE before Grosse Pointe Art Center Jazz Performance: "Marcopoli & Morgan have been featuring Kristin as a Jazz Vocalist for two years. The jazz duo play brilliantly together with a distinct flavor of Metheny grooves and latin rhythms as jazz standards are being interpreted with integrity and keeping with the tunes original intent. Next comes Kristin bursting with soulful vocals! Kristin has become a professional singer in the past 3 years as fate and passion are paving her path.
