| Prone (until we change the band name, possibly soon) is a Twin Cities based metal band currently consisting of only three permanent members. (Any good drummers out there?) The sound is what it is; often locked into a hard groove, but with the tendency to be serene or possibly kick you in the face. We are influenced by so many different types of music...but a few of them would be: Deftones, Glassjaw, Snot, Mudvayne, Maynard (both bands), Killswitch Engage, Thrice, Primus, Incubus, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Finch, Hum, Far, Blood Brothers, Dave Mathews, Boys to Men(seriously), Sponge, Rage, blah, blah, blah.....you get the point. Accomplishments??? Not too many...yet. Won a small battle of the bands in 2002, recorded some stuff.................that's about it so far. Newly refreshed with the addition of a new vocalist, we are ambitious to find a great drummer to be part of what we're doing and come play some music wherever we can reach. See you soon! | |
