POC MAGAZINE PRESS RELEASE North Carolina's based publisher will be releasing the first African-American magazine of its kind in the Wake county market. Something long waited for that shows our people in positive light. POC Magazine, which stands for People of Color, is a magazine geared at the African-American communities in Wake County. POC is being built on a vision to help improve the quality of life in the African-American communities. Over the years time and time again we have seen the health, way of life, and stuff economically. POC magazine will be published by Sapfire Media & Communications. I am very pleased and delightful to be the first to start a magazine of this magnitude said Publisher/Founder and owner Mr. Angelo Blount. I want to educate and uplift our urban communities not just in the local market but all urban communities around the country. We want to show our people that it’s ok to dream and look out of that small window of hope and see that it is other things out of what you may see around you. We will touch on issues that other people or magazines maybe afraid to touch on. Our goal and vision is to bless others with knowledge that they need to move forward. We want to use other people success stories as a motivational tool and really show them that dreams can come true. If you really dream and set goals things can happen. Over the years I have seen our youth lose hope on dreams and life. Life to many youths really does not matter because they don’t have hopes or dreams anymore. Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. Mr. Albert Einstein also quoted "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." Our plan is to be the ones who change the facts. We want to show them how to look at a bad picture and make it the most beautiful peace of art. Life is just like art you must have a vision to paint the perfect master peace. |
