I'm from the sunny (sort of) south coast of england and make the music you can hear on this page both live and in a little studio. I use a fair few instruments but mostly guitar (nylon string), voice and laptop. To date I've had indie releases on anti-cat, hermetech and looseleaf; some national and international airplay (bbc, various eu stations and online) and I'm going about performing a semi-improv electro-acoustic set around the uk and europe and really enjoying it! current/recent projects include: I'm working on a new collection of songs and building/finding percussion instruments for the opening of an exhibition by Agneiszka Dabrowska. I'm quite excited by this as I have worked out a whole bunch of new things I can do with a little more equipment and some good starting points from which to extemporize. It looks like if these ideas are successful they will form the basis for a full length recording that is primarily performed live. So, looking forward to posting some of this stuff up and assembling a new album! new recording and gigs with kokopelli, brighton based prog folk act. 3 piece psych rock project with olly adams (drums) and toby (bass). playing live for the idolrich theatre company tango guitar for the lost tangos teaching guitar for TGS and others recording sessions on a range of instruments - common and not so common and film music for experimental movie shorts. - thanks very much for stopping by on this myspace look/listen at my oeuvre please planet. feel free to become a friend and leave your comments |
