I prefer the obnoxious over the demure, the extra over the ordinary, dry wit over slapstick, gameness over gameyness, attitude over appearance and hipness over hipstersness. I think people-watching is better than TV-watching, sometimes I am funny, and other times just funny looking. I'm confident and happy and that sounds cocky and I am I swear. In my bedroom you'll find a scaffold bed, a snowboard, (lib-tech emmagator, about to get used very soon), an MP3 player (ok an iPod), boxes of plugs/switches and computer parts, old sox'n'pants, design and cultural studies books, a bass guitar, empty pernod and vodka bottles, a kite, an armchair (often buried in clothes), bike bits, coffee cups and beer cans, lists of things to do and a messy boy or two ..... If you cherish your independence, expect the improbable, and deserve the impossible gimme a bzzZZ Things i can't live withoutLOVE ........ur love, my love, loving and being loved.Music and dancing. Friends and Family. The 24 hours each day gives us (dont waste 'em coz they dont 'carry over'). The latest nights imaginable....yes please!!! JOY !! Things i don't live withoutMy vehicles....Bike, Snowboard, k2 FattysMy mobile phone.....Sad fuuuk but i do need to be in touch when we can't touch .... Music-sharing networks, DVD burner, Mac's and PC's. Garlic and Scotch Bonnets, Spinach, Midnight feasts, Coffee, Eggggs........ My Library, Magazine Subscriptions, Writing lists, Reading Lists, Lists.... Tears, Dreams, Hangovers, Bruises, Cuts and Burns.... or...Creatively: My cameras and computers, amp and bass guitar, sequencer and Reason 3, picture frames, empty walls, spaces and forgotten corners.Nostalgically: A long-forgotten MP3 of Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole or The Normal.Psychologically: My Passport......... Let's escape whenever we can.Atmospherically: Drinking sangria in Barcelona on a warm summer night, looking at people and loving (I mean really LOVING.....) the noise. Listening to the ocean and marvelling at the horizon. Playing with echoes in the mountains....Emotionally: My wondrous friends.Parenthetically: "I'm definitely 'NOT' this precious...." |
