| Some might think and say to themselves right away who is this guy and what does Lostre mean? But dont get it twisted people once you will hear Lostre spit you will recognize that he has a unique raw skill on the mic that will make you listen to what he has to say. The style Lostre holds is a bit different from what you will hear nowadays on the radio and on t.v. Lostre feels the need to talk about real issues about what is going on in the world today and also what is going on in his mind. There is a interesting meaning under the name Lostre, you see Lostre is the greek word for crazy but its flipped around. The original word for crazy in greek is TRE-LOS he made it into LOS-TRE its a slang they use where he's from. Lostre was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1982 from greek parents as a youngster he moved all around Chicago, Illinois up until 93 where him his mother and little brother decided to return to there roots and family back in Greece. Living over there for over 12 years first in Zakynthos the island where he is originally from and then moving to Athens Ted Livos aka Lostre created a lyrical beast that is ready to be unleashed. Listening to hip hop all his life and working on music now for over a decade in producing, writing and spitting what you will hear on Lostre's myspace profile is strictly Lostre! Everything! Beats like "She Was Amazing" you hear a person that's expressing how he feels about his woman after enjoying some really good sex. And then there's a collaboration on "Mass Appeal"with Solomon Childs the New York MC from Staten Island who is affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan! both MC's are coming straight grimey and raw on this one. We cant forget about the real deep "They Dont Care" On this one you hear a person that is fed up with life and all the bullshit that comes along with this shit hole but is still fighting back! Lostre returned back to the states in May 05 recently living in Tucson, Arizona he is ready to get in the game get his recognition and create chaos "we need to bring the quality and the realness back in hip hop" Lostre says and with that we out. |
