| The Jetsons, formally Drifter is a new rocking band from Brisbane, school friends Ross Malloch, Matt Copley and James Sclater started Drifter in year 10 of High School when entering a music competition. They started out as 2 bands each playing a diferent song, Toxicity, by System of a Down and Can't Stop, by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Three members of the two bands then formed one band comprising of Ross, Matt and James. They continued to gig at their school and often played with an extra guitarist or a different vocalist. However, the core three remained until 2006 when new member Josh 'Tree' Swan joined the group to play at a friends 18th birthday party. The boys functioned so well together as a 4 peice that Tree was hired officially as the band's second guitarist. The band continues to rock out today and are recording and performing originals set to take the world by storm.The jetsons continue to change the way rock and roll is viewed in main stream music. From raw guitar riffs, to new age funk, the Jetsons envisage music at its core. By creating entangled guitar and bass riffs and focusing a strong backbone of drums, the Jetsons will continue to bring you rock and roll at its best!!!Also check out Matts other project The Frets | |
