TABAMI Presents: “NO DJ’S” Hi Party People, NO DJ's is: Vee Diawara (Sampler, Keys, Guitar, Bass), Marijus Aleksa (voted best drummer in the Baltic’s) and Riccardo Bondini (Percussion). We got together for fun to mash up songs live. We are a very spontaneous bunch, which makes every show different & unique. Since none of us is a DJ (but essentially we mix songs like a DJ) we choose the name: NO DJ's. Using Samplers, Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Drums and Percussions, we combine Electronic, Jazz, Rock and Hip-Hop accapellas and tracks with exciting new techniques to create live "Dance Remixes", "Mash Ups", "Bootlegs" or if you prefer "Pop Bastardz". A “NO DJ’s” show gives you the chance to hear AC/DC mixed with Faithless, Daft Punk with Nelly Furtado, The Beatles with Metallica and many other mixes you won’t hear anywhere else. Experience Rock and Hip-Hop songs being transformed into dance-floor killers on the spot. Our beats & live mixing guarantee you will need NO DJ’S for a perfect night out clubbing... We throw Mash Up Parties with different themes every month . So far we've had tributes such as: "Happy New Roxy Year", "The Depeche Mode Session", "Latin Lounge", "The Quentin Tarantino Session" and many more. This month is dedicated to Bonos (one of our favorite writer/singer/ activist) 48th Birthday! Check out the: "The U2 Session". Mash up's The “mash-up” trend first started with DJ’S mixing one artists playback track with another one’s accapella track to create an entirely new song (music mash-up). This was quickly picked up by video makers who mixed music videos and even software maker who started creating brand new programs with their “Software mash up’s”.
