Struktur was founded in april 2002 when Icelander Eldar Astthorson moved to Göteborg, Sweden from Reykjavik, Iceland. He then organized an event for the shoe and clothing brand C1RCA at the veune Pusterviksbaren. To preform he booked Leaf and Z-MC from New York. Shortly right after the event plans was made to countine on monthly basis. Struktur went from project to fact, and from october 2002 Struktur has been active on different veunes around Göteborg: Henriksberg, Pustervik, Cronan, Stars'n'Bars, Trädgårn. In 2003 Social joined forces with Struktur and in 2005 Eldar moved back to Iceland. Since then Struktur exists of Leaf and Social. Artists that has appeared at Struktur are Danny C (Creative Source/Metalheadz), Infuse (Vibez/Counter Intelligence), Seba (Metalheadz/SecOps), Sidekick (Sound of Habib) and System Noise (TekDbz/Renegade Hardware) among others. |
