| BIOGRAPHY: The band originally started in mid 1999 under the name "jennys a whore". Jenny played in several places around town, recorded our demo in late march 2000. Whoring ourselves we started to promote it, and sent it out to everyone. Finally, we got a response from Blue Torch(sports show of the time), They wanted to do a tour to play live while the skaters where on the half pipe, Jenny’s A Whore accepted and everything looked like it had fallen in to place, but because of personal problems within the band we had to cancel. everyone went into their separate ways. Gery, the singer, went on to sing in various local bands around town. Joel went into work with an old friend of his, Oscar, to make acoustic-electronic after hours type of music in an outfit called "Banda De Ladrones". The rest of the band started projects of their own. Several years past but nothing was like the original line up.Gery vocals and Oscar guitar started to have jam sessions at night, and the song called "revolution" came out of it. We decided to start the band again. Oscar called Joel bass and Gery called Abe on drums. As a new band we started on new material, but abe had to move on(thanx 4 the help bro.) The new band used several session drummers for live shows (Thanks Dany for the help!). For the first recordings Gery played the drums. There was no name for the band and there was no steady drummer. We played several shows without a Name...then it hit us, The first song we wrote to start this whole reunion,"REVOLUTION", should be the name of the band, so thats how we came out with the name. Then out of nowhere, We get the number of a drummer who could try out for REVOLUTION. Within the first minute, We all knew we had found the forth member of "REVOLUTION" ...the KEVMAN. REVOLUTION have been constantly playing shows since late 2007... We had a live broadcast from mezz.tv (THANKS MONCHI & CREW!) REVOLUTION is playing in local stages around town, trying to keep live music alive!!!!!!!!now you started the REVOLUTION!!!!! | |
