Born into a family of classical musicians, I started the cello since I'm 5 years old. Instrument which I continued learning during a dozen years, by playing chamber music, in orchestra... At the age of 16, I took advantage of the opening of a drum class in my music school to play this instrument that particularly interested me since some time. I quickly realized that this would be as a drummer that I would like to evolve professionally. It is also by discovering drummers such as Gavin Harrison and Vinnie Colaiuta that this passion was confirmed. That's why I joined the Drumschool Lajudie in Limoges for a year (2004-2005). I got the school's diploma. I then spent a year in Tours in the school Jazz à Tours (2006-2007). Then a year in Paris which was not really constructive because of the difficulty to find (unsuccessfully) a room to practice drums, but I had the opportunity to meet great musicians and went to many concerts. I returned living in Limoges for now in order to practice drums intensively in my practice room, to join bands, to create one soon and to compose. Concerning bands, as a drummer, I played in jazz classes, in Jazz Big Band (also as a trombonist), in Pop/Rock bands (Spacemakers, K-pilotrac-T)... I'd like to play now in bands of different styles, although I think more and more to be close to music ranging from Pop to Jazz-Rock-Fusion. I do not know how things will evolve, what I know is that the discovery of the band Radiohead has changed my life, and that I am a huge fan of Vinnie Colaiuta, Gavin Harrison, Virgil Donati (among so many others and not just drummers, of course), bands like Porcupine Tree, Blonde Redhead, Planet-X... Né dans une famille de musiciens classiques, j'ai commencé le violoncelle dès mes 5 ans. Instrument dont j'ai poursuivi l'apprentissage durant une douzaine d'années, en participant à différentes formations, stages de musique de chambre, d'orchestre... A l'age de 16 ans, j'ai profité de l'ouverture d'une classe de batterie en conservatoire pour jouer de cet instrument qui m'attirait particulièrement depuis quelques temps déjà. J'ai rapidement compris que ce serait en tant que batteur que j'aimerais pouvoir évoluer professionnellement. C'est également en découvrant des batteurs tels que Gavin Harrison et Vinnie Colaiuta que cette passion s'est confirmée. C'est pourquoi j'ai intégré la Drumschool Lajudie à Limoges pour une année de cursus professionnel (2004-2005). J'y ai obtenu le diplôme mention bien. J'ai ensuite passé un an à Tours en phase préparatoire 2 de DEM dans l'école Jazz à Tours (2006-2007). Puis une année à Paris qui n'a pas été forcément très constructive étant donné la difficulté à trouver (en vain) un local afin de pouvoir travailler la batterie, mais qui m'a permis de faire la rencontre d'excellents musiciens et d'assister à des concerts. Je suis revenu habiter à Limoges afin de travailler intensivement la batterie dans mon box, d'intégrer des groupes, d'en former un bientôt et de composer. Au niveau des formations/groupes, en tant que batteur, j'ai participé à des classes de jazz, un Big Band (également en tant que tromboniste), des groupes de chanson Pop/Rock (Spacemakers, K-pilotrac-T)... J'aimerais jouer dans des groupes de différents styles, même si je pense de plus en plus m'orienter vers de la musique allant de la Pop au Jazz-Rock-Fusion. Je ne sais pas comment les choses évolueront, ce que je sais, c'est que la découverte du groupe Radiohead a changé ma vie, et que je suis un très grand fan de Vinnie Colaiuta, Gavin Harrison, Virgil Donati (parmi tant d'autres et pas seulement batteurs, bien entendu), de groupes comme Porcupine Tree, Blonde Redhead, Planet-X...
