| Welcome to my new Myspace, considering everyone in the business has a myspace account i decided i need to get to work. so excuse any mistakes i make, i'm new to this stuff!I've officially been a Hip Hop head since about 1985, when In Toronto the ONLY rap you could hear was on 88.1 with Ron Nelson (shout out my Nig!), i used to have to attach the tv cable to the radio to be able to get the signal, and i loved it, everything from UTFO to KRS 1Time passed, i started to DJ in high school, then got my own Radio show at Syracuse University called the GROOVE FACTOR, then i transfered to Niagara University where i continued, eventually becoming the Station Manager, while also doing my 3 hour radio show. I played a combination of Hip Hop and House Music, in Toronto it was considered a wierd combinatin, but in NY lots of clubs rolled like that (SHOUT out to Red Zone and Lime Light!!!), thats when i opened a couple of shows DJ ing, with A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and Digable planets- all very cool to hang out with, and a dream come true.After Graduating i started to work with my Bro at a company which is now known as MAXAMUS ENTERTAINMENT, we've worked with artists such as Harpoon Missile, Melanie Durrant, Cheerleader 666, J Diggz, and now Voyce, aslo we work with World Renowned Director Little X, who has been a big influence on my life.but I've been on a Leave of Absence since having my son in Jan 2006- being a good dad is very important to me so most understand why.Anyways, after University i wanted to make my own hip hop album, yes i can Rhyme MOFO!, but the problem was i couldnt find any Beats i liked, and producers in 1996 were hard to come by, so i wanted to produce my own joints, so i started making my own beats- Holla at yo boy!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Melanie Durrant "BANG BANG" I'm the piano player, Jdiggz is in the wedding partyJDIGGZ VIDEO "MAKE IT HOTT" | |
