| SLIDE LIVE PICS BY ELI & STEFY ,THANKS!!!It's 1995 when Lisa and Pierpaolo give life to a band called Acidaluna(even if they begin to play together since 1992) .Some sessions become part of the band(drummer,violin players)and they give more enphasis to a project that is surely a cradle of originality and research of new musical horizons.In 2001 they decide to have ALCHEM as name and record a demo with tracks singed in english and since that moment they start to work as duo only(recording all instruments,drums,guitars,bass,samples,vocals)trying to expressing their ideas mixing both sources,respecting the two natures of those ideas,trying to create the perfect alchemy between them.So they start to rehearse and writing a lot of stuff to arrive to the definitive 4 tracks that will be recorded for the "demo 2005".In the meantime ,they start to play some shows too as un-plugged situations and in the early 2006 born the collaboration with MKM PROMOTION AGENCY.In May 2006 "Flash Magazine"("italian Hardwaves"by " www.Disintegration.it)writes the first review of the band.In September two new members join Alchem:Mirco(drums)and Michael(bass). In june 2007,they have a new bass player Damir,then they're rehearsing new and old stuff,in order to record a complete CD and they are playing in live situations...RECENSIONE "FLASH"(MAGGIO "2006) .. v Capitanati da Lisa,in possesso di una timbrica forte ma al contempo calda,gli ALCHEM ci propongono un dark-rock dalle sfumature oscure che ha nella voce della vocalist uno dei punti di forza.Da non sottovalutare neanche la capacità di offrire sfumature diverse ad una musica che riesce ad abbracciare sia la vena più darkeggiante tipica degli eighties,sia trame più moderne che potrebbero ricordare anche l'essenza di "Hagalaz Runedance".Un esempio di quanto descritto è la bellissima "Santiago",che alterna chitarre semiacustiche e passaggi assolutamente oscuri ed arcani.(ITALIAN HARD WAVES)REVIEW ON "FLASH MAGAZINE"(MAY 2006)"THIS music succeeds in embracing dark inspiration tipical of eighties and modern influences such as the essence of "Hagalaz Runedance" too,for example the beautiful song "Santiago" alternates acoustic guitars and absolutly dark and arcane moments"RECENSIONE"metalDEMOns"Il nome ALCHEM,si regge sulla poliedricità strumentale del duo Belli-Capuano,binomio capace di creare per questo DEMO 2005 una musicalità profonda,aggraziata e affascinante.La vena soft e la delicatezza che pervadono i 4 pezzi presi in esame sono fligli di una ricerca sonora matura e ponderata,costruita intorno alla forte personalità vocale di annalisa,sinuose chitarre acustiche e la bontà di morbidi ma laboriosi arrangiamenti.Praticamente impossibile non cogliere il penetrante feeling dell'ancestrale "Santiago" o il cupo romanticismo di "you will call my name",quest'ultima impreziosita da un finale in crescendo che mette bene in evidenza tutto il valore tecnico -espressivo dei due musicisti.Contenuti ma opportuni irrobustimenti elettrici e accennate note di violino colorano di maggiore drammaticità"Something bleeds"e"Little Scorpion",songs che rappresentano a pieno titolo l'anima haevy e incalzante degli ALCHEM per nulla in difficoltà alle prese con partiture piacevolmente contrastanti se messe a confronto con quelle decisamente più intimiste e sognanti prese precedentemente in esame.In definitiva un lavoro più che buono e leggero come una piuma da ascoltare e riascoltare,rigorosamente a luci spente,mentre fuori piove.(METALDEMONS)REVIEW ON METALDEMONS: "...A profound,graceful and fascinating musicality.....sinuos acoustic guitars,soft but laborious arrangement...then a very good work,soft as a feather...listen to it with lights off while outside it's raining""Pasion,de sutiles rosas rojo sangre con fondo negro es esta entrega demo que contiene cuatro tracks ,con un sonido bastante bien logrado ,lo que nos permitte percibir todo su sentimiento para hacer rock de cuerdas,pasajes de teclado y percusiones fuertes y pesadas.Con una tendencia hacia el metal ,su fina estructura de melodias y pasajes melancolicos los llevan hacia otras fronteras que no es nada facil de encasillar"(ALFREDO;BRUXIAS fanzine) |
