| ARTIST LED - ARTIST DRIVEN 'I am very excited about the Brown Punk label. I have been friends with Tricky since he first signed with Island many years ago. He is an extraordinary man who is naturally generous with his talent and has always been keen 2 give new artists a shot by working with them and personally introducing them into the business. He set up Brown Punk 2 do this more formally and directed and starred in this film of the same name 2 feature really exciting talent. The Dirty so impressed PJ ( Dirty Water Club) that he agreed to setup a label and release their first 7" single. "Cinnamon" which came out to critical acclaim and sold out within a week.: : Emerging British Singer/Songwriter, Alex Mills has been singing From the tender age of eight and has an extremely unique vocal style. With influences ranging from Etta James, Tracy Chapman, Ray Charles and Chaka Chan.: : The 1st Blood Band are a ten-piece Hip Hop outfit, who have an eclectic musical background, having influences of; hip-hop, soul, funk, rock, jazz, and blues. They certainly are not a collective to be missed, with an appeal which has reached and crossed many boundaries, the 1st Blood Band are certainly ones to look out for.: : Glasgow based Engine formed as a result of the "genre redefining" (The List) Ouch club nights where vocalists and musicians would jam with DJ's and fuse styles together : Constantly writing lyrics and recording in the studio while supporting new breaking artists from his Black Piranha crew, Face has proven he's a grafter. And with an already proven fanbase who have lapped up his mixtapes and are hungry for more, he needs to be. : : A London based band with a blend of unique genres with strong vocals that will draw you in a spit you out with every story the song tells. With a group of experienced musicians coming together for the first time as a rock unit.: : Kira's live performance is such an overwhelming experience in the lands of torn up blues and salty rock'n'roll,carried out by a singer who is remarkably at one with her material. With enormous shifts between the possessed, the sincere and the physically explosive, Kira Skov is, with her great vocal repertoire, a natural talent of the rarest kind.: : : Laid Blak's hometown performances have won rave reviews and an army of local support.
