About Me |

OOFT! are a DJ and Production duo straight outta Glasgow, Scotland. The name came originally from Ali Herron & The Revenge's 2006 residency at the infamous 333 club in Shoreditch, London, but quickly became used for just about everything to do with the two, be it DJing, making records, or more recently running club nights. Nothing is sacred at an OOFT! night as long as the fire keeps burning and the heads keep bobbing. Armed with CDs, turntables and other bits of technological jiggery-pokery, you can expect edgy hiphop, twisted electronica, dubbed out re-edits, freaky disco, bleepy house and stone cold tear jerkers all rinsed within an inch of their lives. So far guests have included the mighty DOMU (TrebleO/Sonar Kollektiv), JIMPSTER (Freerange), and LEE MORTIMER (Front Room), SINDEN (Get Familiar) and the boys will be playing alongside London's finest SWITCH (Dubsided/Atlantic Jaxx) at Glasgow's SUB CLUB in a few weeks. Production-wise their debut EP was been released on Five20east records UK, with new material forthcoming soon, as well as building up a fair amount of unfinished tracks and a healthy pile of exclusive re-edits and reworkings, many of which find their way onto the OOFT! blog site below. ............................................................ ........................................................
