| ALBION COVERS nace en abril 2006 desde la escisión del Grupo RED MORNING LIGHT, banda de versiones de Beatles y canciones originales en estilo "beat".
RML en un Año y medio de actividad habian conseguido: Tocar en la "Semana Beatles" de Burjassot, en la que participó también Tony Sherindan Grabar el single Woman, producido por Wili Quijal, con la participacion de la acrtiz Elvira Prado, para el vigésimo quinto aniversario de la muerte de John Lennon y "el proyecto mujer" de la ONG Caritas valenciana Presentar en la Fnac de Valnecia el single Woman y los temas originales "All the Songs" y "Rain on the Americans", cuyo videoclip fue pasado y presentado por RML por un programa de television local Y mas cosas... Albion Covers (Loren, Rafa, Javi), naciendo de esta experiencia, se forman añadiendo en su platilla a Ruben, cantante y guitarra, quien se integra enseguida con el nuevo estilo indie britanico. Albion Covers son principalmente un grupo de versiones de The Libertines y Babyshambles, pero siguen guardando e implementando el repertorio de The Beatles y de temas originales. La cosa rara que caracteriza al grupo es que nace totalmente como una e-band, ya que los 4 cuatro Componentes viven en distintas ciudades y en el caso de Loren, en un pais distinto. Asì que el grupo no puede ensayar. Graba los temas a distancia atraves de internet, enviandose las pistas por email. La cosa es divertida, estimula el grupo en las grabaciones y sirve para estudiar los temas, asì que cuando coinciden para tocar en directo, no hay problemas de arreglos y dinamica. Javi Juesas, el bateria, desafortunadamente abandona el grupo, pero el grupo encuentra Jordi Marin, catalan, gran bateria y amigo de toda la vida de Ruben, que se integra enseguida con el grupo. Albion Covers hacen varios conciertos en 2007 en la comunidad Valenciana y también en Barcelona. El 2 de noviembre actuan en la Fnac de Valencia presentando la salida a la venta del DVD de The Beatles HELP!, y tocando principalmente temas del LP Help! Participan en la transmisión de radio "Sergeant Pepper..s Radio" (de Wili Quijal) con la version de los temas "Albion" (Babyshambles), "Cry Baby Cry" (The Beatles),el nuevo tema original escrito por Loren y Rafa "Down with a Frown", y el tema original "All the songs". Albion Covers, gracias al apoyo y el trabajo de Wili Quijal, tocan sabado 8 de Marzo de 2008 en THE CAVERN CLUB, en Liverpool. En Agosto de 2008 empezaran a grabar su primer EP. .. Miembros: Lorenzo Fraioli: Voz y Guitarra Ruben Coll: Voz y Guitarra Rafa Martin: Bajo y Voz Jordin Marin: Bateria international tribute band. ITALY AND SPAIN created by: Loren & Rafa Albion Covers is a eGroup born in August 2006. It is a eGoup because we live in different countries, but we organize concerts anyway. the Band comes from Red Morning Light a half Beatles cover band, that had a good year (2005) in Spain, participating at the Beatles-Week 2005 in Burjassot, Recording a Single (Woman) with Elvira Prados for the 25Th Anyversary of John Lennon's Death, and making a little tour of shows. Now, we play music, and we play the music we love. Btitish music. Above all we think we gotta share it. Anyway in our concert we do not play only Libertines (Libs, Babyshambles & DPT) songs. We still keep on playing Beatles, Lou Reed, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Oasis, RML.... However, ALBION COVERS is a tribute to a great band and a tribute to two great musicians (Carl Barat & Pete Doherty, that a little remember us John & Paul) that money, fashion, drugs and stupid people split. In this site we only show what we do when we need to sing. These songs connect us even we are faraway, like us, divided somewhere in between the sea. So what became of the lickly lads??? And what did We dream??? We think it is very important to communicate, and actually internet is a powerful tool to do that. So we try to be just fans and musicians at the same time, because we don't want to forget were we come from. What did you expect? Tell me what did ya expect?? We don't want to be clones. Our songs are just an interpretation of the sound that characterizes the style of the libertines. What katie did??? and next???
