I have been a lover of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal music my whole life, growing up on hard rock seventies bands such as Alice Cooper, Kiss and Ac/dc, by my early teens I was listening to W.A.S.P., Motley Crue, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. As I have gotten older I have found a great appreciation for all things metal. Including the heavier side of things listening to bands such as Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Carcass, Napalm death to name a few. I am a huge fan of all sub-genres from death, thrash, speed, nu, punk, hardcore, traditional, sleaze, hair, black among others.If some of you are wandering why my name sounds farmilier, you may know me for my association with Inside_out666, a website I created a few years ago, “Dedicated to forty years of hard rock and metal music”. Since starting the Inside_out666 website my interviews and reviews have been showcased worldwide on a number of websites and publications throughout Europe, Australia, Japan, U.K. and the United States. The Official Inside_Out666 Website For the last three years I have had the privilege to do what many fans would love to do and that’s interview some of my heroes and up and coming rock and metal artists. The official site features the latest news (updated weekly) reviews, links, world wide tour dates (updated monthly), photos and the latest interviews conducted by yours truly. My Photographs During the years I have done what many concert goers do, I snuck cameras in to many events over the years to try and capture my own memories of nights that I wanted to remember forever. On most occasions it’s safe to say that that never paid off. But on the rare occasion you are able to take that one perfect photo that will live on forever. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to photograph some of the greatest hard rock and metal bands of our time. Bands such as: Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society, Sebastian Bach, E.S.P., Arch Enemy, Cannibal Corpse among others. Recently Florida’s death metal legends Cannibal Corpse used a handful of my photos and my live, Sydney review on the bands official myspace page, which I something I am really proud of, My 2001 Australian Kiss live shots featured on many of the bands fan sites during the farewell tour era. As a life long Kiss fan that is something I never dreamed would have been possible. I have also recently become the official photographer for Australian metallers H8TANK . My work is featured very heavily on the bands official myspace page which you can access from my top friends list.My photos have been used on a variety of hard rock and metal websites from around the world and I am now hoping to take the next big step and have more of my candid pix used in publications such as Kerrang, Revolver, Hit Parader, Burrrn!, Metal Maniacs, Metal Hammer etc I am currently looking to work with many more bands both in Australia and overseas. I am interested in doing both live and on location photographs with both established and upcoming rock and metal bands. My Interviews I am so proud of each and every one of my interviews and recall funny stories to go along with most of them. There is nothing like calling one of your heroes or sitting down next to them and asking them things you have wanted to know for years. To get the story straight from their lips is amazing. In the last three years I have been very fortunate that hard rock and metal websites around the world have taken on 99% of my work. I really appreciate those sites that have helped me build the reputation I now have. My work has been showcased in various countries; Spain, Italy, Australia, U.K., U.S.A., Brazil & Japan and thats something I am damn proud of! January 2006 I started submitting a lot of my work to Spain’s ‘This is Rock’ magazine, which has proven to be a fantastic relastionship, one I hope to build on even more in the future. Along with having so much of my work published in This is Rock mag, I have had another of my interviews published in New Yorks Improper magazine. Heroes:There is just no way I can write out this list lol. There are just too many to mention.I guess some of my biggest heroes are each & every member of KISS. If it wasnt for kiss I probably would have never had listened to so many other great hard rock & metal bands. I have been a Kiss fan my whole life & they defiantly get a mention here! Eric Carr: Kiss drummer died in Nov 1991. Eric was a true hero to me, the main reason I ever sat behind a drum kit. I have always admired his drumming & song writing. Eric will always be remembered in my eyes. Long Live The Fox! I do have others but I cant be bothered writing them all out lol. I will say in some small way I admire all those every day men & women who put there lifes on the line to save ours when needed. They are the ultimate heroes in my book, should be in everybodys! In some way I feel the need to list a few of those who we have lost over the years due to disease, suicide, murder etc Some of these guys & girls also make my heroes list & Im sure they make yours too. One day I will get to drink with some of these rockers!
